Guest Investigators for 2017-2018

The Guest Investigator Program is available to promote the use of PROBA2 data. After an eighth call for Ideas in September 2017, the Guest Investigators for the period Dec 2017 until December 2018 were selected by an indepnedent comittee.

The selected Guest Investigators, and their (provisional) research topic, for the period Dec 2017 to Dec 2018 are the following:

Alzate, N SWAP A Closer Look at 'Stealth' Coronal Mass Ejections.
Banerjee, D & Patel, R SWAP Automated detection of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) in SWAP images.

Cécere, M & Sieyra, V

SWAP A systematic study of CME deflections.
Georgiou, M LYRA Relativistic electrons precipitation due to geomagnetic activity in coordinated POES, PROBA-2 and PROBA-V observations.
Koukras, A SWAP A unique opportunity of observing and modeling a CME event from the low to the outer corona.
Meyer, K SWAP Investigation of the middle corona with SWAP and a data-driven non-potential coronal field model.
