On July 11, 2010, a total solar eclipse took place which on Earth could only be seen from the South Pacific Ocean and Easter Island. PROBA2 crossed the lunar shadow path 4 times and saw 4 lunar transits - partially covering the solar disk - between 17:20 and 22:00UT.
